Glitz n’ Glam is an event rental company based in Kelowna BC that has been offering quality rentals and hands-on services since 2010. The company was founded by Owner Brittaney Yeast while working at a small hotel in Salmon Arm BC. Brittaney was introduced to the Wedding and Event industry while assisting in parties hosted at the hotel, and it became clear that there was a gap in the local industry for services and quality rentals.
To fill this gap, Glitz n’ Glam was formed, and products were purchased. In those days, marketing was different, and there were no Instagram or Facebook business pages. The company relied on Craigslist ads and fliers to get the word out, and slowly clients started calling. The foundation of offering quality rentals, affordable prices, and hands-on services grew the name quickly. Staying on top of trends and constantly adding new up-to-date products kept things exciting and fresh.
As client requests grew bigger, Glitz n’ Glam added custom props and elements to their services. Over time, the company relocated to Lake Country BC for storage/showroom and then moved into a larger warehouse in Kelowna BC in 2020. Glitz n’ Glam has serviced the Okanagan Valley over the years, and amazing relationships have been made along the way.
The company has been fortunate to visit the most beautiful venues and private properties and to meet the most creative and like-minded business professionals, not to mention the kindest clients. Glitz n’ Glam is grateful for the years of learning lessons that have added to their experience and the trust their clients have in them. Without the trust of their clients, they never would have been able to grow to the business they are today.
